Kazuo Ishiguro won the 2017 Nobel Prize in literature.

The Nobel committee said that this year's Nobel Prize in literature goes to the Japanese, British writer, "he has a huge emotional power in the novel, revealed in our contact with the world is under the illusion of the deep".

Ishiguro ishiguro, an English novelist and playwright born in Japan, won The Man Booker prize in 1989 for his novel "The Remains of The Day."

Ishiguro, 62, came to England at the age of five with his parents.

After a stint as a musician, he studied creative writing at the University of East Anglia at the University of East Anglia.
